Bratislava Capitals will join, Znojmo will leave the fun

DAll 11 of the voting teams have approved the joining request of the Slovakian team Bratislava Capitals. The 2nd team of the slovak capital city, Bratislava found a big brand (iClinic), as a naming sponsor which means that their financials seems to be solid for the next season. Their home ice will be in the Ondrej Nepela Arena, or also known as the Orange arena. The rink has a long history dating back to 1940, which was completely renovated in 2009. The rink is going to be the biggest arena in the league, capable of hosting 10,055 people. The team does not have such a long history, it is probably the youngest team in the ICEHL league with a founding year of 2015. In the previous years they have been participating in the 2nd and 3rd Slovakian Hockey leagues but at the beginning of last year their organization went through an upgrade and managed to finish the last season in top position before the coronavirus brought an early stop to the year.

Welcome to the ICEHL and good luck!
